8-month-old baby boy missing and alone for 24 hrs has been found aIive in Louisiana field
An 8-month-old Niguel Jackson went missing, and was found safe in a field in Louisiana.
Rescuers lost all hope for a positive outcome, But God had his hand on this sweet child and his safe return is being hailed a miracle!
When a woman showed up at a Baton Rouge fire station with a mental health emergency, first responders rushed to help her. It wasn’t until the next day that the woman began to mention her baby—the baby that wasn’t with her when she arrived at the station.
This sparked a frantic search for the mother’s missing baby, 8-month-old Nigel Jackson. Family members said Niguel was with his mother when she left her home seeking medical attention. However, the woman showed up alone at the fire station, not mentioning her missing child until later.
Rescuers launched a search but feared the worst. So everyone was relieved when the missing child was found alive and safe in a field.
“The timing didn’t give us much hope, but the baby was serious,” said Mike Chust of East Baton Rouge EMS.
The mother directed the search to the church near her home. And from there, rescuers were able to locate the missing baby and found him alone but alive and well in the field.
“The doctors jumped on him and started treating him right away and… I think he’s going to be fine,” Mike continued. “You know, it’s still in the danger zone, but I still think it’s basically just a miracle to see the state it’s in.” I didn’t expect this at all.”
Rescuers took eight-month-old Nigel Jackson to hospital as a precaution. There, the doctors confirmed that the boy was in a stable condition, with no signs of trauma or injuries from the ordeal.
Thank God for delivering this baby safely into the hands of rescue teams!
